Before we move ahead I also suggest you look into my list of Blogging tools, which will help you to discover some new tools for your blogging.
Google analytics:
Of all the traffic stats program, Google analytics is the best and free one. I have been using it since 2008, and I have seen it grown from the old design to the new design, which par excellence for any free product. I have shared a detailed post on What is Google analytics, and here are some of other posts related to G.A, which will help you to get more out of it.

site-meter
Sitemeter:
Sitemeter is another great tool which I use. Though I don’t use it on all of my blog, because with one sign up they allow only one website monitoring, and that is something which I don’t like.  Here are some of the posts from past which will help you to make most out of site meter.
wordpress.com-stats
WordPress.com Stats plugin using Jetpack plugin
This is one of my favorite WordPress plugin to keep track of my stats. I like this plugin because I can see my traffic stats in real time. Most important it helps me a lot to find out daily stats of posts. So I can keep track that post is performing well. One another great feature is search engine keywords and referring posts. I like all this features in short, and if you are not using all these, you might like to get this plugin by installing Jetpack plugin.
Another one which I have not listed here but is quite notable is Statcounter which is a real-time stats program. They also have an iPhone and Google play app which makes it more meaningful.
Well, there are many more free and paid Blog Traffic Stats tool are there in the market, but above three are something that I use on WordPress powered blog, and they take care of my need.
